INTEGRATIVE HEALING PROGRAMS
Real change takes more than a quick fix. This is built for that.
This is more time, more coordination, and more support than a single appointment can offer. Treatment, strategy, and check-ins sequenced together, and adjusted as your body responds, so progress actually holds.
What a Program Is
And why we work this way
Isolated visits work well for simple, short-term issues. They tend to fall short for symptoms that are persistent, interconnected, or have resisted other treatment.
A single appointment can address what's in front of you that day. It's harder for a single appointment to track your pattern over months, adjust as you respond, or coordinate acupuncture, lab strategy, herbs, and wellness support toward one plan instead of six separate efforts.
Your nervous system has spent months or years reinforcing certain patterns like hypervigilance, digestive shutdown, hormonal disruption, pain sensitization. A single treatment can interrupt that pattern for a day. Lasting change means giving your body enough consistent, well-sequenced input to actually build new patterns and that's how real change happens, through repetition over time, not a single reset.
Running labs and handing over a supplement list is the easy part. Staying with you as your body actually responds and adjusting when something isn't working, recognizing a plateau, knowing when to push and when to hold is the part most protocols skip entirely. And no two bodies heal at the same pace, so a plan built for someone else's timeline was never going to fit yours.
That ongoing, responsive coordination — not a one-time protocol — is what a program provides.
01
Your Path Through Care
Getting Started
Comprehensive consultation — we determine your priorities and recommend your program
Enroll in your program — testing happens inside your plan, not before it
A coordinated team — Dr. Roper, Carrie, and your Care Concierges work from one shared plan
If labs are ordered, treatment begins in parallel — you're never waiting to start
Your personalized roadmap comes together once everything's in hand
02
Settle. Flow. Build.
Your program in motion
Your program moves through three phases:
Settle — stabilize overloaded systems before adding complexity
Flow — improve regulation and function across systems that are interacting poorly
Build — replenish and strengthen what's been depleted, now that your body can actually use the support
Healing isn't rushed here. It's paced to match what your body can actually take in and use.
03
Your Checkpoint & What Comes Next
Intentional transition
Midway through your program, we reassess together what's shifted, what's still active, and what needs to change for the second half.
At completion, that leads to one of a few possible next steps:
Thrive — lower-intensity, ongoing support that protects your progress
Continued active care — if your case still warrants it
Graduation — if you've reached full stability
Many patients find real momentum by month six and choose to keep building on it for complex or longstanding cases, this is often just the beginning of what's possible. Care evolves based on how your body is actually responding, not a fixed timeline.
Who You'll Work With
A Coordinated Team, Not a rotating cast
Dr. Liz Roper, LAc DACM leads your clinical strategy — your consultation and the roadmap that guides your care.
Carrie Chauhan LAc brings her own clinical expertise to your treatment, working in close coordination with your plan.
Michelle, your Practice Manager & Wellness Coordinator, helps you understand your plan, keeps you accountable, and checks in with you regularly between clinical visits.
Diane and Lisa, your Care Concierges, get you comfortable, apply supportive in-clinic therapies, and support your visit clinically and behind the scenes — from checking in on how you're doing to coordinating your scheduling and billing.
Everyone on your team works from the same plan adjusted together as you progress.

What May Be Part of Your Plan
Not every patient receives every tool — your plan uses what's clinically appropriate for your case.
We believe in targeted, not exhaustive. You won't leave with a blanket list of restrictions or a cabinet full of supplements you're not sure you need. Every recommendation has a specific reason, a specific goal, and a clear point where we reassess whether it's still needed — less that actually works, instead of more for its own sake.
Included in your program:
Acupuncture and in-clinic treatment
Functional and integrative health strategy
Nutritional and lifestyle guidance, tailored to what your body actually needs
Mindfulness and nervous-system practices
ATP/FSM, ozone insufflation, cupping, E-stim, TDP lamp, ear seeds, and other supportive in-clinic therapies
Wellness coaching and coordination
Education and at-home guidance
Billed separately, when indicated:
Functional and conventional lab testing
Chinese herbal medicine
Personalized supplement protocols
The Right Program for Your Case
Your care plan should match what your case actually needs.
Some people need a focused few months of care. Others have more longstanding or layered patterns that require a longer timeline. We’ll recommend the length and pace of care based on your history, goals, and what we uncover during your consultation.
Fertility care is a little different. Timing is often built around your cycle, where you are in your fertility journey, or an upcoming treatment timeline.
You won’t need to figure out which program is right for you before you come in. We’ll help you determine that together.
What commitment looks like
Consistency builds progress
Programs are built around regular, ongoing care — not sporadic visits.
Commitment typically includes:
Consistent appointments
Applying guidance between visits
Remaining engaged as care evolves
Consistency allows interventions to compound rather than reset. This is how resilience is built.
Investment
Your comprehensive consultation is $397. You'll know the full cost of your program before you begin & every question about pricing gets a clear, specific answer at your consultation, not a vague range you have to guess from.
Just Need Acupuncture?
Sometimes you already know exactly what you're dealing with, and you just want skilled, focused care for it. That's what a five-element acupuncture visit with Carrie is for.
It's a different kind of visit than our comprehensive consultation — not a smaller version of it, just a different starting point for a more contained concern. It would be focused from a Chinese Medicine lens. If we discover along the way that more is going on, we'll talk with you about a full consultation, so you always know what's next and why.
Pricing:
First visit with Carrie — $250. Includes Chinese Medicine Health history and Initial Acupuncture Treatment. (60-75 min)
Follow-up visits — $125. booked one at a time, whenever you need them. (30-45 min)
6-visit package — 6 follow-ups at $125 each; for when you already know you want ongoing care, just simpler to plan around
In patients’ words
Liz is amazing!! Living with endo I honestly never thought I would find any form of relief. After working with Liz my pain has drastically improved, my energy and mood! After seeing these amazing results acupuncture will be a consistent part of my health routine. Thank you Liz and team! You all are the best! -Rachel
She knew right away that my migraines were connected to my cycle and began helping me to manage my stress and balance my hormones. I got through some of the hardest years of my life (working as a nurse during the pandemic) with more ease and support because of working with her. She is absolutely incredible and I cannot recommend her enough! -Caitlin.
I have seen many different providers and NONE have spent the time to know me and issues/concerns. I finally have met someone who wants to get to the root of my problems and address them vs pushing meds to treat the symptoms. I feel confident in her hands and always feel amazing when I leave. Her office is welcoming and in a great location in downtown Golden. I feel grateful to be treated by her and highly recommend her. -Jessica.
I cannot recommend Dr. Roper and The Medicine Tree staff enough! She is the best acupuncturist I ever experienced.
I was struggling with lyme disease, mold toxicity, candida overgrowth, pots, low blood count anemia, hormone imbalance, micronutrient, adhd, deficiencies, depression... I never thought I would feel like myself again mentally, spiritually, and physically... Dr. Roper has helped me to regain my life force and I am so incredibly grateful. I feel better than I have in SO long :')Allison
