Dr. Liz Roper L.Ac DACM

Dr. Liz Roper is the owner and operator of The Medicine Tree.  She began her education majoring in Chemistry with a pre-med focus. She loves to understand the underlying workings in life and has always had a love of studying the human body.  She felt that there was still something missing in modern health care.  You can break life down into the smallest units but none of it matters unless you also see the whole.

To delve deeper she decided to study Classical Chinese Medicine.  She attended graduate school a total of 4 years at the Academy For Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL and obtained a Masters of Science in Acupuncture. There she also completed the Chinese Herbology program and obtained her certification in 2014.

She then went on to become nationally certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM and continues to maintain this through endless commitment to continuing education.

To further her commitment to her patients and the medicine, she deepened her education and received her Doctorate in Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in April of 2020.

Dr. Roper and her family live here in Golden, CO. She grew up north of Pittsburgh, PA and moved all around Georgia during her twenties. She visited Colorado in 2014 and knew this was where she wanted to settle down and grow her roots.  She is a lover of mountain biking, skiing and enjoys seeing live music.  She dabbles in painting as a way to relax but most of her joy is found by spending time with friends and family discovering the outdoors and by serving her community!

"Let me help you on your journey to health, self-awareness and self-love."
