The NADA Protocol for Detox and PTSD

NADA stands for National Acupuncture Detoxification Association.

A powerful protocol was developed that doesn't require a formal diagnosis that helps people detox their bodies in many ways.

Most people think of only physical detoxification but this protocol aids in detoxing the body on emotional, physical and psychological ailments.

The NADA protocol is famously used for helping people fight PTSD, Addictions, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Weight Loss, Stress, Insomnia, Smoking Cessation and more!

There are five ear points (auricular points) that are used.  These points are done on both ears with hair-thin, single-use, sterile, stainless steel needles and the points remain in for 20-45 minutes while the patient relaxes in a dark and quiet room.

The five ear points involved and their general indications are as follows:

1st: SYMPATHETIC (Autonomic): Anxiety, restlessness, irritability, tremors, sweating and digestive complaints.

2nd: SHEN MEN: Anxiety, depression, promotes general well being and settles the heart and emotions, Cravings and sleep disorders.

3rd: KIDNEY: Promotes elimination of toxins through the kidneys. Lower back pain, impotence, libido issues, spontaneous sweating, night sweats, general will to live.

4th: LIVER: Promotes metabolic function of the liver, removes toxins from the blood, aids in phase I and II of the liver, calms anger and outbursts/aggression, aids in vision of the future, planning and insight.

5th: LUNG: Promotes excretion function of lungs and assists in the process of "letting go".  Helps with shortness of breath, night sweats, goose bumps, and itchiness

These 5 points work together in a way that amplifies the affect of each point and they are found to be very successful in their healing abilities!
